25 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago The Maintenance Supervisor position is responsible for performing skilled work in maintenance or craft occupations.
This position is primarily located at the Montana Highway Patrol headquarters in Boulder, but also supports the Montana Law Enforcement Academy in Helena.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible forsupervision of two custodians, four maintenance workers, and one electrician.
The travel will consist of commuting in a state issued vehicle between Helena and Boulder.
Duties may include:
Performing preventative maintenance and equipment such as replacing belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and cleaning gears.
Paint or repair broken windows, doors, floors, replace broken windows or damaged items Inspect, test and adjust systems such as pumps, alarms, gauges, heating and cooling and electrical components Fabricate or machine parts, tools and other equipment Maintain alter, and repair wooden objects, fixtures and structures Perform carpentry repairs and replacements on defective, broken or worn-out sections Light engine repair and welding Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Good knowledge of building operations i.

o Electrical o Plumbing o Mechanical o Engine repair o HVAC systems o Welding skills o Light equipment operation o Low-pressure boiler operations Knowledge of health and safety standards Ability to multitask and plan for upcoming weather and supply needs Ability to work with others and have a good working relationship with the public Ability to troubleshoot Minimum
Qualifications:
High school diploma Three years of job-related experience Two years of supervisory experience.
