Certified Nursing Assistant
Job Description:
Assisting mentally impaired or emotionally disturbed patients, working under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
Assisting with daily living activities.
Leading patients in educational and recreational activities.
Accompanying patients to and from examinations and treatments.
Restraining violent patients.
Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
Reminding patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
Noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
Staying up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.
Requirement:
Valid BLS/ ACLS and license.
Remarks:
The assignment duration will be 13 weeks with the possibility of an extension.
The facility consists of patients with sensitive behavioral challenges and has a Zero-Violence Tolerance Policy.
CPI 3rd Edition training mandatory (If the candidate already has the training completed can submit the certificate else it will be conducted by us).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
